Established in 2021, we are committed to creating a sustainable future for all living beings on our planet. Our work spans across environment sustainability through afforestation and domestic animal rescue & care.
According to the Forest Survey Report 2021, India's forest cover stands at 24.62% of the total geographical area. While this is a positive sign, the need for continuous afforestation and reforestation efforts remains critical. DARC is dedicated to bridging this gap through community-driven tree planting initiatives and crowdforestation programs.
The Pet Homelessness Index reveals a sobering reality: approximately 8 crore cats and dogs are homeless in India, with an alarming 85% of companion animals being homeless. These statistics drive our commitment to animal welfare — from rescue and rehabilitation to shelter and adoption programs.
