Reforesting degraded landscapes across India through community participation.
India's forest cover has declined significantly over the decades. Our Plant a Tree Campaign is a flagship initiative that aims to reverse this trend through community-driven afforestation efforts. Using crowdforestation techniques, we mobilize volunteers to plant native tree species across degraded landscapes.
Since 2021, we have planted over 15,000 trees across Kerala and neighboring states, working with local communities, schools, and corporate partners to create lasting green cover that benefits both people and wildlife.
Plant 50,000 native trees across degraded landscapes by 2030.
Involve 10,000+ volunteers in tree planting and nurturing activities.
Restore native plant species diversity in target regions.
Improve groundwater recharge through strategic tree placement.
Offset carbon emissions by creating new forest cover.
Create natural habitats for birds, insects, and small mammals.
Identify degraded land parcels, assess soil conditions, and select appropriate native species for planting.
Organize large-scale planting drives with volunteers, schools, and corporate partners during monsoon season.
Regular watering, protection from damage, and growth monitoring for 3 years to ensure survival.
Leading our afforestation efforts with 10+ years of experience in environmental conservation and community mobilization.
